Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford, born in Bloomsbury (London), was raised by the mother, her grandmother, and godparents. Her father was absent from her family. As a young girl, she struggled with an obsessive compulsive disorder. She also experienced anxiety due to the word association. Ford began acting during her teen years and joined a member of the National Youth Theatre. Ford was accepted into the Sylvia Young Theatre School. After a couple of days, she realized that this school wasn't right for her. Ford returned for admission to the Central School of Speech and Drama and, after her fourth attempt, she was finally accepted. Shaun Dingwall - who later played Pete Tyler in Doctor Who - was one of her classmates. Ford was not able to complete her degree until 1993. But, by 1991, Ford had made her debut on television on the show Surgical Spirit. At that time, Ford adopted the stage name Catherine Tate. Tate appeared in programs on television like The Bill, Men Behaving Badly as well as London Burning. Tate would also frequently work in theatre and eventually joined the Royal Shakespeare Company during its season between 2000 and 2001. Tate's stand-up comedy style that she started adding to her set in the year 1996, was soon gaining the attention of her peers.
