
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English actress as well as a media personality and singer. She has been a judge for Britain's Got Talent since 2007. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on every weekday morning. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her growing up in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she joined Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also in TV in three seasons of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also participant in three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" which starred Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. She co-starred with Bill Nighy and Tom Courtenay in Ready When You Are, Mr. McGill, a comedy drama written by Jack Rosenthal. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she was a judge on the show.
